ĐỒNG HỚI - TÂN HOÁ - RAT CAVE

Morning: The car will pick up guests from either Đồng Hới or Phong Nha and transfer to Tân Hoá. After checking in and getting their rooms, guests can ride bikes around Tân Hoá village to appreciate the majestic beauty of the distant limestone mountains or learn about the cultural richness of the local people. Lunch will be served at Tú Làn Lodge.

Your guide will lead you on a trek along Hollywood Road, a pathway built by Legendary Pictures during the filming of Kong: Skull Island. As you walk through this iconic movie set, you’ll cross the Rao Nan Stream to explore Rat Cave—a 400-meter-long dry cave connecting Tân Hoá Village to the Laken Valley beyond the mountains. With its stunning stalactite formations and a wide entrance, Rat Cave offers a breathtaking underground adventure.

Evening: The guide will lead the guests on a bike ride to a local home in Tân Hoá for dinner. During this time, the host will introduce the customs, practices, and culture of the local Nguồn people. Guests will also learn about how the people of Tân Hoá live with floods and adapt to the weather for tourism. A highlight of the evening will be the opportunity to savor delicious local dishes prepared by the host, which is considered a wonderful experience by most tourists visiting Vietnam. After dinner, guests will bike back to their accommodation and spend the night.

TÂN HÓA - COUNTRYSIDE CYCLING: EXPLORE TÂN HÓA FARMS - ĐỒNG HỚI

Start your day by witnessing the sunrise at Tại Tú Làn Lodge, which is surrounded by breathtaking mountains and the winding Rào Nan River in the distance. In front of you, there is a picturesque lush green meadow where herds of buffalo graze. Afterward, enjoy a delicious breakfast at the restaurant of Tú Làn Lodge before engaging in the day's activities.

After breakfast, guests will follow a local guide on a cycling tour to experience the daily life of the villagers. The journey includes a visit to the VAC integrated farming system (Garden-Pond-Livestock), a sustainable agricultural system that supports the local economy. Visitors will also explore farms raising deer, porcupines, and bees, gaining firsthand insight into honey production. Along the way, guests can sample local specialties such as corn, peanuts, and green tea with honey.

After the Rat Cave exploration, you will enjoy lunch at Tú Làn Lodge restaurant and then check out by 12 p.m. Our vehicles will transport you back to Phong Nha or Đồng Hới.
