The Tân Hoá Village Exploration 1-Day package offers a full-day experience to discover the beauty and culture of this unique village. Itinerary

MORNING

9:00 AM: Tour guide picks up guests at the Oxalis office in Tan Hoa. Introduce Tu Lan Lodge, a weather-adaptive accommodation model aiming for Net-Zero sustainability.

Explore Tan Hoa Village by bike, and visit the households providing homestay services and home-cooked services.

Lunch at a local home: Savor authentic local dishes prepared by the homeowners themselves, including a taste of 'Poi' prepared by the Nguon people, while learning about their culture, customs, and traditions.

AFTERNOON

Visitors will trek along Hollywood Road, a filming site for blockbuster movies like Kong: Skull Island and The Immortal. The journey continues with an exploration of Rat Cave, a pristine cave featuring stunning stalactite formations. Equipped with specialized gear, guests will experience the thrill of becoming true cave explorers. With insights from expert guides, visitors will gain a deeper understanding of the formation of Tu Lan’s limestone mountains and cave systems. After the adventure, guests can freshen up at the Oxalis office in Tân Hoá before returning to Phong Nha.
