However, driven by his passion for nature exploration, he shifted to the adventure tourism sector, taking on the role of a guide at Oxalis. To become a guide, Lam underwent thorough training in tourism and earned an international guide certification. He completed a first aid course organized by the Red Cross and regularly participates in annual safety and rescue training. He also actively attends in-depth sessions on geology, limestone karst, and cave systems.
At Oxalis, Lam leads guests on adventure tours through renowned caves such as Tu Lan, Hang Tien, and Hang En. His guiding style is a blend of enthusiasm, friendliness, and discipline. With his extensive knowledge, he brings to life stories about the nature, culture, and people of Phong Nha, ensuring that guests have an engaging and safe experience.
Outside of work, Lam enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, and camping. He has a particular interest in exploring centuries-old, untouched forests. His active curiosity about natural biology allows him to share even more insights with guests during their tours.
